♥reccos retreat - bintan♥
introducing:
1st row - xiu juan, teck beng, yao zong, peipei
2nd row - miumiu, me, tim juan, (that cock behind tim is edwin), jeff, goose, bernard, seng kwee
i just reached home from the 4 days 3 nights bintan trip!
although the whole trip is funfilled, i regret to explain that it is mostly because of the people there.
not saying that the place sucks. hahaha.. but it isn't really like what i expect of it. :(
the trip there is quite tedious.
an hour's ferry ride from tanah merah ferry terminal,
then a bus in which took like 20 mins.
the worse part has to be all the waiting and waiting.. (zzzzzz)
perhaps it's because i'm dying to reach bintan, the journey there felt so much longer than the one back.
haha.
here are some pictures to show you around the journey there and the resort itself.
left to right, down:
in the ferry (with some botak infront of me), the view outside ferry, the living room,
the resort interiors, the by the beach spa massage places, the beach,
hee..mokie loves pegs, the rows of resort bungalows, the ferry from the outside and half a dada. hahaha.
the 3 days there were mostly spent by the beach, and in the resort. eating, or playing board (bored) games.
hahaha.
the beach is a really nice place.
although i've never been to places like hawaii or even australia which boasts of fantastic beaches,
i really like the wide shores the bintan beach possess.
the waves there are kinda strong too.
well, at least enough to kill someone who can't swim, (LIKE ME!)
haha.. the reccos had their near-death experiences there too.
those garang shitheads were like dashing into the waves.
recall those waves pools in singapore swim pools?
those waves are like 6 to 7 times stronger.
esp in those "danger" zones.
few of those guys said they almost got swept away. haha..
i had a taste of the salty seawater on the 2nd day.
rented few of those little body bairds they have there.
and tried pirated "surfing" haha..
it was terrifying!
i think i'm a cat my last life.
i'm terrified of water. esp open waters like beaches!
brrr!
the dashing into waves with a board is fun until one big one hit me hard
leaving me turn 360 degrees in the water.
i totally lost control of like where the ground is and all.
worse thing is, when i wanted to come up,
the fucking board hit hard on my head.
hahahaha.. tell you. i'm a cowardly piece of shit!
that is enough to freak the shit outta me!
haha~
mmm.. fun though.
the spa places there are not bad too.
those by the beach, the ambience is quite nice.
but it doesn't really seem popular.
maybe because there are a few more mainstream ones in the resort leisure centre itself.
food is expensive there!
so we the smarties bought lots of food over there! hehehe..
unfortunately, most of them are junk food.
hotdogs..instant noodles..instantd soup..canned food..
something along that line. yea.
quite sad uh?
(that is why we went to engulf nice food right after we reached singapore mainland just now!)
hahaha.

we played volleyball, captains ball, water-netball, soccer, and table soccer. haha..
sounds more like a mini sports camp yea? hehe.
well, remember i mentioned board (bored) games?
haha..
risk..scrabble..and this very fun game called guesstures.
its something like win, lose or act kind of thing.
i had hell of a good laugh playing that game.
although i don't have much photos of the whole thing,
berd filmed the whole thing down!
haha. so wait till berd uploads it,
i'm gonna get it and post some pictures on the blog. :D
come to think of it, i'm so glad i went bintan with fun people.
if not for that, i'll surely be bored stiff there!
following that, we played a drinking game to finish up the bottle of chivas we bought.
the game is a really fun one!!
mmm.. lemme do a lil introduction about the game.
maybe you guys can play it too in future. :p
THE DRINKING GAME
*combine like 2 to 3 decks of card
*everyone in a circle or smtg. and take turns to draw cards.
if you draw..
-black ace, 2, 3, 4 or 5 ---> yourself have to drink according to number shown
-red ace, 2, 3, 4 or 5 ---> you APPOINT someone to drink according to number shown.
-card 6 ---> the secret action card.
(discretely flash card on table and do a gesture. everyone else has to follow.
last person to do so will drink. you can keep the card after you draw it
and flash it again anytime you like)
-card 7 ---> the toilet card. simple as it sounds.
can only go toilet with the card before the deck of cards finishes.
-card 8 ---> the rhyme card, say a word. one by one,
everyone try to find a word tt rhymes with your word. go round and round until
one person fails to do so. (eg, ball, fall, tall, stall, nepal)
-card 9 ---> the rule card. you can start a rule
(eg, only collect card with left hand, can only speak in hokkien)
anyone who breaks rule before deck finishes drinks.
-card 10 ---> the listing card. give a category and everyone starts listing
(eg, list all the fruits) the one who fails drinks.
-cards K, Q, J ---> nothing.
now that you know the game. hahaha..

hehe.. that was the last card of the deck.
and edwin is the person to pick it up.
he has been dying to go pee. dying for the game to end.
haha.. but before that card, teck beng picked up card 9.
and guess what rule he made for that last card?
EDWIN MUST PICK UP AND OPEN THE CARD WITH HIS TONGUE!
wahahahah!
we shall now see how edwin completed the mission!
he licked the table clean man! haha. and guess what?
HE DROPPED THE CARD ON THE CARPET!

here's our journey home already.
the hardworking tim juan still reading conscientiously while the others start a mini gambling den in the custom! haha. and guess what?
we ran into daniel ong and jamie teo there too!
took the same ferry home and they were having their 2 persons gambling den there too. haha.

then we went over to century square at tampines for a nice jack's place meal
then to watch aeonflux by my favourite charlize theron!!!!!
i totally love her!!!!! she's so so so pretty!
although the show itself isn't really fantastic, i'd still love the show because of her!

i bought a cheapie $9 tee and a pretty ring from tampines tooo!
i love the ring! i fell in love the minute i saw it!

i want to watch "perhaps love" very much too!
